Australia Day

Well we had a nice day on Australia Day. Went for a bike ride in the morning and then late afternoon we went up the mountain and had a BBQ with the Smith's. It has been soooooo hot here for the past couple of weeks, with temps of high 30's to mid 40's and no rain in site!!!!! So you can amagine what the farm looks like (A DESERT !!!!!!)

Yeh, I finally got it to work!!! This is Rusty, he is 8 weeks old.

NEW PUPPY _ RUSTY

Today we bought a new puppy!! He is a "blenim" - (red & wite) cavalier king charles spaniel. A friend for Benji!!! They seem to like each other so far - and hopefully I get some sleep tonight!!! Well I have tried so hard to post some photos but it is just not happening. I even drove down to Milbrodale School with my laptop and Dad's new phone to see if that would work and it didn's so I will have to post some tomorrow from work!!!!

A hard day at WORK!!!

Ashleigh and I have been busy doing archiving today. It was like a sauna out in that room and not real clean either. We have only just started, there is so much more to be done - but it will make things so much easier to find when we are finished.
Well the day is almost over here at work and now we are about to go home and get some cattle in that we are selling tomorrow!! It has cooled down a bit now so it shouldn't be too bad.
Rikki and Monique have spent the day at home today - hopefully having a rest as they have been pretty full on since Monique arrived.
We are going to go to Coffs tomorrow or Wednesday so I will show everyone your blog!!!

What's Happening

Well we have had a pretty busy week, getting back to work etc. Shane and Kelly left on Thursday to head back home, but Monique decided to stay with us for a week or two. We are planning on going to Coffs sometime through the week and then take Monique home the week after. Hopefully we will get to spend a couple of days with them in Qld and maybe take in a theme park or something!!!!

This weekend we at home doing farm work. Dad is cleaning out a dam that we had a cow stuck in!! It is turning out to be a BIG job!! and a BIG dam!!!

Yes I Have A Blog

Well I have finally got around to creating a blog!!! And yes we all survived New Years Eve, although there were a few sore heads yesterday and maybe still some dull heads today!! But we had a good time so I guess thats the main thing. The theme was reverse gender beach party (very interesting and as stated - very wrong!!!!!!) Guys just don't do bikinis!!!!!
It has been great to see Shane, Kelly and the girls and we have been bike riding and socialising a fair bit. They are staying for a couple more days before they go home. Anyway I will try and publish some photos and stay tuned for more updates of this blog!!!!!
